• Focused on sel-gratification without care for others welfare.
• Obeys other countries’ laws but disobeys its own.
• But can be challenged into being the best when push becomes a shove.
• Can be ruthless and unforgiving.
• Can thrive with be best and survive the worst of times.

THE REASON WHY…

• we were enslaved for more than three centuries by colonizers.
• the country cannot move forward and have been overtaken by others who are more focused on their countries’ good.
• corruption continues and will continue to stay.
• we are hopeless and will continue to be, because our rich history remains just an old story.

Alright so this is going to be really random but I just want to post something before “Valentines” expires… hehe…

First, I seriously am hooked on HappySlip. It’s the website of the famous Filipina video blogger Christine “HappySlip” Gambito. Although, there are some people who aren’t really into her brand of comedy, there’s really something sooo entertaining with all her “vlogs”. How she highlights some of the “comedies” in the daily lives of most Pinoy families in every part of the world is pure genius. We see Filipino bloopers that we can actually be proud to own up to. She was here in the Philippines about two weeks ago. I failed to go to her Meet and Greet in Manila, but that’s ok. There will be chances… Drop by her site and be enthralled by her charms… ^__^

Valentines was a day filled with flowers, chocolates and warmth that made me feel like I’m on top of the world. I was greeted with a single red rose when I woke up that morning. It was from my younger brother. He actually saved up for it. He’s been touring the city for days trying to get us presents but since there aren’t that many shops here, he settled for the simplest present. ^__^ It was so sweet I actually cried. I love you piggy! (He calls me piggy too… hehe)

When I got to the office Ryan gave me flowers and chocolates! Yay!!! Our janitor told us that they had to search for those damn chocolates because most grocery stores run out of them. You see, our province is really a small place… Nothing much to buy. He gave me a boquet too which is just as sweet. ^__^

Grace, our marketing assistant also posted Valentine messages for all of us in the office’s pantry area.

I got a lot of other things from my online friends as well. ^__^ Yay! Thank you everyone!!!

Since, I’m not a very graphics person and since I’m not so talented with anything, lemme just quote Kaien Shiba of the anime Bleach. Your heart is not really just inside your rib cage. It’ll be where you want it to be. In this instance, I’ll leave a part of it to every one of you who in one way or another have touched my life and made me feel like the luckiest creature to have ever walked this planet… Thank you too for giving me a piece of yours. God bless everyone!

And one last thing, Ryan I love you. Thank you for holding my hand everytime I try to reach for my dreams; for reassuring me that the stars ain’t too far because we’ll both be reaching for them. Thank you also for understanding and for being supportive of the roles I need to perform for my family, for the community and for our country. I would never have been capable of loving this much if it weren’t for the love you give me every waking moment of my life. Although, I’m not conventionally sweet, I promise to do everything in my power to make you happy everyday (even if at times I need to yell at you or throw my tantrums at you or just be immature altogether).
